HEYL (Heyl Chemisch-pharmazeutische Fabrik GmbH & Co. KG) is a family-owned pharmaceutical company operating since 1926. Our main activities are in particular the development, production and distribution of antidotes for radiological and nuclear emergencies. HEYL also produces and distributes pharmaceutical products used for the treatment of rare diseases and heavy metal poisoning.

Cyber Security / IT Specialist (all genders)

Responsibilities and Scope of Position

          • Administration and Optimization of existing IT Systems. Implement company-wide information security strategies and projects
          • First-in-line management of cyber incidents and security breaches. Includes prevention and Post Action scenarios
          • Service-oriented, technical support to internal departments in terms of IT troubleshooting, implementation, and IT landscape management
          • Administration of internal training programs alerting all employees regarding cyber-crime and IT security relevant processes and procedures. Establish and maintain training programs and related documentation systems
          • Administration and Optimization of backup / restore processes and policies, as well as server and client landscape
          • Administration and Optimization of network security systems such as IDS and IPS, as well as security of remote access points via MFA protocols
          • Maintenance and development of existing network and IT infrastructure

Qualification

          • University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical subjects
          • EU EITCA/IS, CCSP, SSCP certification or other comparable certification
          • 5 – 7 years professional experience in small- to midsize organizations – chemical or pharmaceutical industry a plus
          • Must have significant experience and aptitude with Information Systems security, hardware, software, and services
          • Must have a strong understanding of business operations and applications at advanced level skills using Microsoft products. Working knowledge of SAP a plus
          • High level of initiative, forward-thinking ability and a getting-things-done mentality. Comfort in matrix and project-team workspaces, paired with high level of social competence
          • Fluent in English and German
          • Position will require some travel
